Pillen is a 100% family-owned and operated business, which means that its sole source of income is from the sale of their products. Pillen Farms produces a variety of fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables. The company sells produce through farmers markets and wholesale to grocery stores throughout Southern California.

The founder and chairman of Pillen Family Farms is Jim Pillen. In addition to selling their produce online, Pillen also sells their produce at farmers markets in Southern California such as the Downtown Los Angeles Farmers Market , The Irvine Farmers Market , The San Diego Farmers Market , The Los Angeles Farmers Market , The Glendale Farmers Market , The Pasadena Farmers Market , and The Orange County Farmer’s market .
Pillen Farms has a goal to be the best in the industry and strive for perfection. Pillen Farms is a leader in organic farming and provides the highest quality produce to their customers. The company is also a leader in education for farmers and consumers about the importance of organic farming practices. Pillen Farms has partnered with organizations such as Natural Resources Defense Council , Farmers Business Network, and Green America to educate their customers about organic farming practices.

Company’s offices are located in a building that was built in the 1920’s by one of Pillen Farms’ founders. The building was purchased from another family member who owned it for many years before selling it to Pillen Farms. The offices are clean, bright, and well organized with plenty of space for employees to work and stay productive throughout the day.
